Todos los meses de enero, durante las fiestas de San Antón, tiene lugar la tradicional bendición de animales a las puertas de las iglesias. Perros, peces, tortugas, gatos, etc. acuden a la cita. Por este motivo y de manera excepcional, el pasado jueves 17 de enero a las 17:15 horas, en el Patio Interior del Colegio Diocesano San Ignacio de Ponferrada, se celebró el “Pet´s
Day”, el “Día de las Mascotas”. Las mascotas de los alumnos del Colegio fueron bendecida a Dios. La bendición de las mascotas consistirá en la oración de San Francisco.
