Los niños encienden la Navidad ponferradina en un acto que llenó la plaza del Ayuntamiento 1

El alcalde Ponferrada, Olegario Ramón, junto con seis escolares elegidos por sorteo procedieron al encendido de las luces de Navidad en una plaza del Ayuntamiento que estaba literalmente abarrotada para presenciar el espectáculo de luz y música que da la salida a las fiestas de navidad.

A pocos metros de la plaza del Ayuntamiento también se despliega una espectacular decoración e iluminación de la calle del Reloj y de la plaza de la Encina.

En el acto del encendido acompañaron al alcalde numerosos miembros de la corporación, encabezados por la concejala de Fiestas, Juventud y Comercio, Lorena Valle, cuya Concejalía es la responsable de todo el trabajo de la decoración y la iluminación navideñas del Municipio.

Tras el encendido hubo un magnífico concierto de música góspel a cargo del grupo All4Gospel y una chocolatada popular y solidaria cuya recaudación irá destinada al Banco de Alimentos del Sil, BAS.
